Ken Van Vleck joined GCA Law Partners LLP in November 2007 from Thoits, Love, Hershberger & McLean in Palo Alto, where he had practiced since 1998. He handles complex commercial litigation matters, including construction, real estate, employment, and intellectual property in both state and federal courts, as well as private arbitration. He has tried numerous cases to verdict, and enjoys the zealous pursuit of his client's rights.
Ken is an active member of the American Bar Association's Section of Litigation, and a co-chair of the ABA Section of Litigation, Commercial Real Estate Litigation sub-committee. Ken is an active member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and has served on its Board of Trustees, Civil Litigation Practice Committee, Financial Committee and Professionalism Committee. He received his law degree from Hastings College of the Law in 1993. And he graduated from Stanford University with a degree in English Literature in 1990. Ken continues to support Stanford as a Master Instructor for the Stanford Kenpo Karate Association. Active in his community, Ken has coached baseball for Palo Alto Little League and soccer for the Palo Alto AYSO. Ken also authors R.E.A.C.H., a monthly newsletter for real estate and construction professionals.
